Story Artist

Privacy Policy

Last updated: TODO: date

The short version: Story Artist collects nothing about you.

This policy covers the Story Artist app and this website. It's written by TODO: your name or company name, and a postal address or country ("we", "us").

The app

Story Artist doesn't collect, store or send any personal data. In particular:

Crash reports

If the app crashes, macOS may ask whether to share a crash report with Apple. That choice is yours, and it's made in your Mac's settings, not in Story Artist. If you agree, Apple may pass the report on to us. These reports describe what the app was doing when it crashed and don't identify you. We use them only to fix problems. Apple's own handling of them is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Buying the app

Story Artist is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment and downloads, and doesn't share your name or payment details with us. We may see anonymous sales figures that Apple provides to all developers.

If you email us

If you write to us, for example through Help > Send Feedback, we'll receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the app. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone, and we'll delete your messages if you ask. Email to our address is passed on by Cloudflare and kept in a Google Gmail account, under Cloudflare's and Google's privacy policies.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other companies. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles your device's IP address to deliver the pages and may keep it for a short time in security logs to protect the site from attacks. We don't use these logs to identify or follow anyone.

Children

Story Artist collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data from the app, there's nothing for us to show, correct or delete. If you've emailed us, you can ask to see or delete those messages. If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a future version of the app ever needed to collect any data, we'd say so clearly first.
